A house on the hill that attempts to address hill valley and lake and the client's aspirations of "a timeless beauty", signified by "simplicity, structure and proportion".

 
The client is a classical dancer whose native Kerala clearly suffuses her aesthetics and her contemporary urban lifestyle. Drawing on the earth-based classicism of a traditional Kerala tharavad. The hill house architectural design assumes its own character, with scale, levels and terraces defying the Kerala origins.
