. The sunlight that streams in from skylights, through the greenery of the terraces, and accentuates the neutral raw palette of materials.

This was to be a straightforward office interior design project till we visited the site. The top floor of an equally straightforward office building had columns and beams and a slab, but from the road, we noticed that the terrace above had been covered with a curved galvalume roof. Hubli has a beautiful climate – Cool and windy most of the year. This project ensures that the office building interior is naturally ventilated, replete with mosquito meshes and fans.

Natural palette of materials

The office shifted one floor higher and we played with the volumes created by this curved roof, open outdoor terraces, surround the office space – lush with greenery.

Sunlit workspaces and terraces

The commercial design interior space itself has – black Kudappa floor, concrete partitions and ply doors and ceiling is all about the light. The sunlight that streams in from skylights, through the greenery of the terraces, and accentuates the neutral raw palette of materials.
