Hotel at Bodhgaya won the Aces of Space design awards 2021
The 80 keys Hotel at Bodhgaya, won the Aces of Space design awards for hospitality/ leisure project of the year in 2021 by Architect and Interiors India.
Spread over 5-acres, not far from the Mahabodhi Temple, the Hotel in BodhGaya responds to the religious tourism in the region – designed as an ode to the historical roots of Buddhism in India. Each space in the hotel represents the tenets of Buddhism through two key architectural lyrics – memory and emotion. The building embraces the human scale, which is conveyed through the architectural proportions of the courtyards, verandahs, arches and windows.
The Aces of Space Design Awards is one of the most prestigious design accolades in India, recognising excellence in Architecture and Interior Design. Winners are celebrated at a grand event in Mumbai, honoring outstanding contributions to the design field. It is an annual event that happened on December 10, 2021 for that year. With 21 jury categories spread across architecture and design segments saw the new high with over 650 qualifying entries from across the country.
