The architectural language was inspired by the local traditions of building, articulating a coherent framework about the facility, which locates itself within the parameters of its functional and socio-cultural context.
The Handloom School is an innovative initiative launched by WomenWeave to encourage talented artisans to continue to practice the threatened craft of weaving. The handloom campus architecture design nurtures the weavers through a creative, practical and multi-disciplinary learning experience that enables them to participate in the global marketplace, both ethically and equitably.
To arrive at the flow of spaces for smooth functioning of the school; our Handloom school educational building architecture was guided by the discipline of the process of weaving, from the spinning of thread to the final finished product.
